TRAVEL
One of the things we love most about this resort is it's prime location in the heart of the Allegany mountains, which provides scenic views and a luxury mountain escape. However, that does make it a bit more challenging to get to the Homestead. We suggest flying into one of the airports below. If you expand each airport, the dropdown will provide the travel time to get to the hotel. Based on the distance and number of flights, we recommend flying into Roanoke Airport.
We will provide a shuttle from Roanoke Airport to the Homestead. Please note, we will time the shuttle to accommodate the most people, so if you choose this option, you may have to wait at the airport for a bit longer. If you would prefer to rent a car, each airport has its own car rental agencies!
Depending on your departing location, it may be easier to drive. For reference, the Homestead is a little under 5 hours from Wheeling, 4 hours from Charlotte, 4 hours from Washington DC, and 9 hours from Atlanta.
